The Pre-SOMA Director works to promote Osteopathic medicine by talking to undergraduate students interested in medicine.  The Director also works to enhance the local pre-Medical/pre-SOMA Club's interactions with the SOMA chapter at LMU-DCOM by keeping them informed of SOMA activities; this is accomplished by organizing events to give pre-SOMA members a chance to meet Osteopathic medical students and ask about medical school applications, classes, and life as a med student.

My goals for this semester include talking to LMU biology classes about joining pre-SOMA and organizing a tour of LMU-DCOM for the club, including a student panel where the pre-SOMA members will be able to talk to osteopathic medical students about applying to med school and their experiences as a student at LMU-DCOM.
